Dear Friends and Supporters,
“Thankfulness brings you to the place where the Beloved lives” Rumi. This quote is a gentle reminder of how we have arrived here in a spirit of thankfulness, at our 15th year anniversary of the founding of the Fregenet Foundation. It’s a testament to the founders who in the face of a great adversity, set out to improve the lives of children through education and fulfill a dream in danger of being left behind.

Now, 15 years later, with continued support from friends and family, as September 2019, we are happy to share the news that the children who started out with us in 2004 are now entering their second year at local higher education institutions -Gondar and Ambo University to name a couple.
