Dear Friends and Supporters,
On Saturday July 31, 2021, Fregenet School conducted the usual annual graduation ceremony of 3rd year kindergarten students in the presence of the graduating students’ parents, Fregenet school teachers, staffs, and invited guests.

The program was designed to be COVID Compliant. Only the parents of the graduating children were invited. Distance was strictly kept. The tent was only half full, just as designed for distance keeping.

It was a lively atmosphere. The graduating little angels were beautifully dressed. the newly purchased graduation gowns were shiny and looked graceful with the yellow ribbon. The music was warm and enlivening. The raised stage was well decorated, and the carpets were all in place.

The program was very beautiful with music, dance, poem, song, fashion show, including a theatrical personification of River Abay. It was all well-planned and well executed.

Though, the heavy rain this Saturday day brought some challenges to the conduct of the ceremony, the program continued on the stage and using umbrellas, and dancing went on with a swinging music from the loudspeaker and the cheering from the audience.

Certificates were handed to all the 23 elated and happy graduating students. Then the appreciation of the teachers continued. The management had prepared certificates to all the staff and teachers of Fregenet Kidan Lehitsanat school, FKL. It was ceremoniously presented. This was an expression of gratitude, a thank you to all, and an appreciation for the six days a week of their hard work, as well as a recognition of their well-executed duties that the school owes them in this difficult Covid era school season.

The program was concluded as planned and refreshments were served at the closing of the ceremony. The smiley little souls had plenty of cakes, biscuits and sweets and loved their graduation. What a festivity and what a cheerful day!!

Fregenet School will have many similar graduation ceremonies in the coming years, and we hope, dear friends and supporters, you will continue to stand with us to shape up our little angels who will be our future leaders.
