We are excited to announce to you that The Fregenet Foundation has kick-started its 2016 fundraising campaign for literacy training project via the GlobalGiving website.
Global Giving will provide our foundation an opportunity to benefit from corporate campaign programs, promotions, as well as recurring matching funds. As this is our first involvement in GlobalGiving, we must raise a minimum of $5,000 before we may tap into the matching funds and fundraising campaigns.
The “Literacy Training For needy Children in Ethiopia” project is already posted on the GlobalGiving website. Please follow this link, https://www.globalgiving.org/projects/training-preschool-for-360-needy-children-in-ethiopia/, read the summary and goal of the project, and donate for a minimum of $10 to $1000 or more.
Regarding the GlobalGiving gift match, “The initial gift of new recurring donations created on GlobalGiving.org will be matched 1-to-1 up to $200 per donor per project.” As of tomorrow, Wednesday May 25, 2016, there is also a Bonus Day match for emerging organizations like The Fregenet Foundation.
As explained by Global Giving, “all online donations of $10-$1,000 USD made between 9:00:01am and 23:59:59pm EDT will be eligible for a 20% match as long as funds remain from GlobalGiving\’s $5,000 matching grant. There will also be the opportunity to compete for Bonus Prizes.”
Please help us reach our goal of implementing the literacy-training project. This will double our fundraising capacity and provide an opportunity to access corporate campaign funds as well as promote our efforts to a worldwide audience.
