We start by thanking you for your continued interest and support of our mission and work in Addis Ababa Ethiopia. Because of your efforts, we have been able to successfully operate Fregenet Kidan Lehitsanat (FKL) for about 14 years, since 2004 and bring 387 students through our system, providing them with a quality education and learning environment.
Later this summer, we plan to have our annual fundraiser, which goes to great lengths to bring in necessary funds to continue and expand our hope for the Fregenet Foundation. We want to take this opportunity to both give you information on the event, as well as call you to action.
We plan to have a fun-filled night with friends, dinner, and music. In order to do so and do it in a way that is the most beneficial for the Foundation, we ask you for any help you provide. If you have any ideas, any connections to host venues, food vendors, music, or anything that you think might contribute to the evening, we would love to have your help! Please let us know any ideas you may have; we’re open to hearing them! And of course, if you’d like to plan the event with us, please let us know.
Additionally, we are thinking of possibly having a silent auction that evening. Of course, we need various items to auction. If you have anything that you would like to contribute, please let us know!
