Dear friends and supporters,
Yearly Fregenet Kidan Lehitsanat School carries out various fund raising activities to solicit financial and material support for its needy students. During the 2017 appeals were made through brochures and letters and sent to different organizations, groups and individuals who coordinate different programs and events in order to collect education materials and raise fund then donate them to different schools like us.
As a result Fregenet Kidan Lehitsanat School was able to collect different education materials starting from August 01, 2017 through October 10, 2017; after they observed our work 4 different groups and organizations donated educational materials for Fregenet Kidan Lehitsanat School for the academic year of 2010. These are:
One pack for one child: donated 1692 exercise book, 282 pen, 282 pencil, 282 sharpener, 282 eraser
Buhe group = 1152 exercise book
Bisrat FM 101.1 Radio = 1200 exercise book, 258 pen and 180 pencil
AZOP communication = 180 exercise book, 250 pen and 144 pencil and 45 eraser
A total of 4,224 exercise book, 790 pens, 606 pencils, 327 erasers and 282 sharpeners has been donated. This materials distributed for 211 students, we thank you so much for believing in what we do and selecting us to be part of this support, because of the school’s sustained effort and the generous assistance from organizations and individuals like you the number of supported students at Fregenet Kidan Lehitsanat reached to 357. This cooperative endeavor has also enabled the school to provide additional facilities of library equipped with books, reference materials and computers to enhance its classroom education with modern information resources made available for the students as well as for the community.
We are keenly aware that our supporters are investing in Fregenet Kidan Lehitsanat’s mission and we take the responsibility very seriously by working hard to promote the education and development of the children in every way possible. We draw strength from the scope and depth of support from donor partners, members and friends as a testament to the great work of our school and students- as well as the strength of the FKL leadership.
