Dear Fregenet supporters,
Our dedicated Ethiopian-based board of directors that oversees the running of Fregenet Kidan Lehitsanat (FKL) School, through its recently created communication committee, has put together a very thorough description of the school and its accomplishments from FKL\’s inception to the present. I think you\’ll be interested to read the local perspective on a project that the board and all of our supporters have worked so hard to create and maintain.
As useful as it is to have the information contained in the newsletter, I think you\’ll agree with me that it is of great value to have a local volunteer board that is so active and dedicated to this work and that benefits them not a penny. The work that they have done and continue to do, whether it is finding and hiring the best staff, meeting with government officials and neighborhood association members, fund raising, or a thousand other duties they perform, comes from the heart and is motivated by the feeling of satisfaction and joy at seeing the lives of young children changed for the better.
